Cookies and similar technologies

Cookies are small text files that your browser stores on your device. Your browser’s local storage works in a similar way.

We do not set any cookies of our own on this website. In your browser’s local storage we only keep your choice in the cookie settings (entry tb_consent), so that we do not ask you again on every page. This storage is strictly necessary for the service you requested (Section 25(2) no. 2 TDDDG). After twelve months we ask you again.

Google Analytics cookies are only set if you consent (see below). You can change or withdraw your choice at any time via “Cookie settings” at the bottom of every page. You can also delete or block cookies and stored data in your browser settings.

Server Data

For technical reasons, data such as the following, which your internet browser transmits to us or to our web space provider (so called server log files), is collected:

  • type and version of the browser you use
  • operating system
  • websites that linked you to our site (referrer URL)
  • websites that you visit
  • date and time of your visit
  • your Internet Protocol (IP) address.

This data is processed to provide the website technically and to keep it secure. It is not combined with other data and not used for marketing purposes.

Use of Google Analytics 4

With your consent, our website uses Google Analytics 4, a web analytics service provided by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland (“Google”). It shows us how visitors use our website so that we can improve content and navigation.

Google Analytics is only loaded once you allow the “Statistics” category in our cookie settings. Before that, no scripts are loaded from Google, no cookies are set and no data is sent to Google.

Once you consent, the following data in particular is processed: pages viewed, date and time of the visit, time spent on pages, the page you came from, information about your browser, operating system, device type, screen resolution and language setting, and your approximate location (country, region, city). To recognise you on later visits, Google Analytics stores a randomly generated identifier in the cookies _ga and _ga_16D8HR497F on your device. These cookies are deleted after two years. According to Google, Google Analytics 4 does not log or store IP addresses.

In Google Analytics, event data is deleted after two months and user-level data after 14 months. If you visit our website again during this time, the period for user-level data starts again.

We have switched off Google signals and ad personalisation. The data is not used for advertising and is not linked to Google accounts.

The legal basis is your consent under Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR and Section 25(1) of the German TDDDG. We have concluded a data processing agreement with Google under Art. 28 GDPR.

Google may also transfer data to Google LLC in the USA. Google LLC is certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework, for which the European Commission has adopted an adequacy decision under Art. 45 GDPR.

You can withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future via the “Cookie settings” link at the bottom of every page. The Google Analytics cookies on your device are then deleted, and no further data is sent to Google.

You can withdraw it at any time, for example by email to contact@theblue.ai. This does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before the withdrawal.

Based on our legitimate interest under Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, we may also send you information about our services and solutions, but only if it relates to the topic of your inquiry. You can object to such messages at any time.

We keep your details for as long as we need them to handle your inquiry. If you withdraw your consent, we delete them unless we are legally required to keep them.
