Microsoft Copilot workshop helping GS1 Poland automate daily workflows
GS1 Poland – part of the global GS1 organization behind supply chain standards and barcode systems – wanted their teams to use Microsoft Copilot to automate routine tasks across documents, meetings, emails, and data analysis. We delivered an interactive workshop with Apollogic that took employees from Copilot fundamentals to practical application in their actual workflows.
Client: GS1 Poland – part of the global GS1 network for supply chain standards and data management. Delivered jointly with Apollogic.

The context
GS1 Poland operates at the intersection of standards development, data management, and supply chain optimization – work that involves a high volume of documents, meetings, communications, and data analysis. Microsoft 365 was already their core toolset, but teams weren’t using Copilot’s AI capabilities to automate the repetitive parts of these workflows.
The organization wanted a structured introduction that would work for employees with varying levels of AI experience – from people who had never interacted with AI tools to those who had already experimented but needed guidance on applying Copilot effectively within their specific roles.
The brief: help GS1 Poland’s teams across departments start using Microsoft Copilot to automate routine tasks – document creation, meeting summaries, email drafting, data analysis – with practical examples relevant to their actual work.
What we delivered
Together with Apollogic, we designed and delivered an interactive training session focused entirely on practical Copilot usage within the Microsoft 365 suite.
Copilot across the full M365 suite. We covered how Copilot works within Word, Excel, Teams, Outlook, PowerPoint, Loop, Whiteboard, OneDrive, SharePoint, and Forms – showing participants how each tool’s Copilot features can eliminate manual work they were already doing every day.
Real-world business applications. Rather than generic demos, we tailored examples to GS1 Poland’s actual workflows: automating document creation, generating meeting summaries from Teams calls, drafting structured emails, analyzing data in Excel, and creating presentations – tasks their teams do repeatedly.
Best practices for effective use. We covered how to write prompts that produce useful results, how to integrate Copilot safely into business operations, and how to evaluate whether Copilot’s output meets the quality standard needed for each use case. This practical guidance is what separates productive Copilot users from people who try it once and give up.
The outcome
GS1 Poland’s teams gained practical skills for automating routine work with Copilot – skills they could apply immediately. The workshop was rated highly for both content and delivery by participants across departments.
The joint delivery with Apollogic again demonstrated the Apollogic Group’s combined strength: theBlue.ai bringing AI expertise and Apollogic contributing deep Microsoft ecosystem knowledge – a combination particularly relevant for organizations already invested in the Microsoft 365 stack.
