AI and Microsoft Copilot workshop for a property development company

A real estate and property development company wanted to embed generative AI and Microsoft Copilot into daily workflows across marketing, legal, technical, and operations teams. We designed and delivered a full-day immersive training – jointly with Apollogic and Wavestack – that took teams from AI fundamentals to building their own custom GPT assistants.

Client: Real estate & property development company (under NDA) – delivered jointly with Apollogic and Wavestack.

AI and Microsoft Copilot workshop for a property development company - theblueai - ai automation - Real Estate · AI Enablement & Workshops

The context

The company’s teams – across marketing, legal, technical, and operations – were at varying levels of AI familiarity. Some had experimented with ChatGPT individually; most hadn’t used Microsoft Copilot at all. Leadership wanted to move from scattered, informal AI experimentation to structured, company-wide adoption – with a focus on practical workflows, not theory.

The challenge wasn’t just technical. Each department had different needs: legal needed contract summarization and compliance risk identification; marketing wanted content generation and campaign support; technical teams were looking at permit analysis and research automation; operations wanted to streamline reporting and communications.

The brief:take four departments with different AI skill levels and different workflow needs, and in one day give them all the practical skills and confidence to start using Copilot and generative AI in their actual work – not just understand what it is.

What we delivered

We designed and facilitated a full-day workshop titled “AI in the Real Estate Industry,” combining conceptual foundations with hands-on exercises using real business scenarios from the company.

AI fundamentals for real estate. We covered how large language models work, what generative AI can and can’t do, and where it fits into document creation, summarization, brainstorming, and process automation – all grounded in real estate use cases rather than generic examples.

Microsoft Copilot in daily workflows. Practical walkthroughs of Copilot across Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and Forms. Participants worked through their own scenarios: drafting emails, generating meeting summaries, creating reports, and analyzing data.

Department-specific applications. Legal teams practiced summarizing contracts and identifying compliance risks. Technical teams explored building permit analysis. Marketing participants created a mini AI-powered campaign for one of the company’s actual investment properties.

Building custom AI tools. We introduced participants to creating domain-specific GPT assistants and Copilot Studio agents — for FAQ bots, document assistants, and other repetitive tasks. The goal: give teams the ability to build their own lightweight AI tools without waiting for IT.

AI Champions framework. We helped establish a structure for ongoing adoption – including a shared prompt library and designated AI Champions in each department to maintain momentum after the workshop.

The outcome

All four departments left with practical skills they could apply immediately – not just an abstract understanding of AI. Teams identified specific workflows where Copilot and ChatGPT could save time, and several began using the tools in production within the following week.

The workshop also demonstrated the value of the Apollogic Group’s combined capabilities: theBlue.ai brought AI and LLM expertise, Apollogic contributed Microsoft ecosystem knowledge, and Wavestack covered low-code/no-code automation – a joint delivery that covered the full range of what the client needed.
